God Created Humanity Male and Female

When a False Identity Is Placed Beside Womanhood

There is something in Abdul El-Sayed’s own campaign platform that deserves much more attention than it is receiving.

Under the heading “Healthcare Freedom for Women and LGBTQ+ Americans,” his campaign explicitly places women and LGBTQ+ Americans in the same policy category and supports gender-affirming care.

This is not an interpretation of his position. These are his campaign’s own words.

At first glance, this may sound like nothing more than an inclusive statement about protecting people’s rights. But that is precisely where the confusion begins.

Women are not a political identity invented by ideology. Womanhood is part of God’s created order.

God created human beings male and female. A woman is not defined by how she feels about her biological sex, nor is womanhood something that can be created or changed by declaring a different identity.

This is why placing transgender identity on the same level as womanhood is not a harmless matter of compassion or inclusion.

In God’s created order, there are men and women. Men and women stand equal in human dignity and worth before God. God never said there was a third kind of human being. From the beginning, He created human beings male and female.

What makes this political language particularly deceptive is that it takes something fundamentally good and natural—the human recognition that men and women should be treated with equal dignity and fairness—and uses that legitimate desire for equality to introduce something entirely different.

By placing “Women and LGBTQ+ Americans” under the same banner of “freedom” and “rights,” the language quietly suggests that these are equivalent categories of human identity deserving the same kind of recognition. They are NOT!

The equality of men and women does not mean that every claimed identity must be placed on the same level as male and female. It means that the two sexes God created—men and women—are equal in dignity before Him.

Once that distinction is erased, the language of “equality,” “rights,” “freedom,” “healthcare,” and “inclusion” can become a vehicle for making fundamentally different things appear morally equivalent.

(There is also another disturbing detail surrounding this campaign. A video released by Laura Loomer appears to show someone associated with the campaign’s LGBTQ coalition saying “Hail Satan” at the beginning of a meeting.

the surface meaning of the words “Hail Satan” is not difficult to understand. The words themselves express something profoundly evil. But we do not know enough about that person or his background to determine what connection, if any, those things have to the coalition itself. That is not what I am trying to establish here.)

That is why this is not merely a question of political wording.

It is an attempt to use a truth people rightly cherish—equality between men and women—to normalize a concept that stands outside the order God established in creation.

And Americans should not allow the language of equality to make us lose sight of what we are actually being asked to affirm.
